Straw color, with gold highlights. Intense nose of pear, pineapple and acacia flowers. Mouth entry is refreshing and crisp, medium bodied, with outstanding notes of exotic fruit in the finish.
Rose
Sheer ruby with bright orange highlights. Intense nose of strawberry an raspberry with a hint of cacao. Pleasant and lively mouth entry. Medium bodied, with well blended tannins in the finish.
PODERE LA VIGNA “Rosso di Montalcino”
Straightforward and juicy, this opens with aromas of leafy underbrush, wild berry and a whiff of oak while the brisk palate delivers raspberry, white pepper and espresso. Closegrained tannins leave a somewhat astringent finish.
PODERE LA VIGNA “Brunello di Montalcino”
Delivers aromas of dark cherries and blackberries along with toast, spices, and hints of scorched earth. Full-bodied and well balanced with flavors of dark cherries, exotic spices, and balsamic notes which are backed by a round velvety texture leading up to the soft, polished finish.
Parolvini Sangue di Giuda
The Sangue di Giuda has an intense ruby red body with fresh fruit and spices mingling on the palate. A persistent and sweet taste that is known for its aphrodisiac effects.
Parolvini Moscato
The Parolvini Moscato is fresh and fragrant with bright and floral aromas that give way to flavors of ripe stone fruit, tangerines, and honey. It is concentrated and flavorful, but not overly rich or heavy. It is sweetly balanced.
Reserva Especial Pinot Noir
Attractive brilliant ruby red tones. Red fruits aromas, strawberries, fresh cranberries notes and a soft mineral character. Soft creaminess on the palate. A fresh red fruit flavours and live acidity refreshes the palate. This Pinot pairs with soft red meats, turkey, game, pasta with creamy sauces and risottos. Serve below 58°F.
Amat Tannat
This wine is the fruit of 24 years of experience Carrau as pioneers in the Cerro Chapeu region, Rivera. His name is a tribute to Don Francisco Carrau Amat (1790-1860), who in his generation promoted the planting of the first red varieties in Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia.
Reserva Tannat
Carefully selected Tannat grapes are hand-picked in Cerro Chapeu estate, where unique red sand soils, continental climate and diurnal temperature variation, give ideal conditions for this varietal. The fruit was vinified in our gravity-fed winery, with open tank macerations for 10 days and aging in second wine french oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, this wine is bottled with minimal handling and aged for one year before release.
